Available in both Synthetic Manila (tan) and Classic Black, our 1 inch Pro-Synthetic Poly (PSP) Rope is the perfect long-term hanging solution. While it handles just as easily as our natural Manila, the synthetic rope offers increased durability against element exposure, seasonal induced stretching, and fade resistance. Although natural fiber rope offers its own unique look and feel, retying your knots can become a pain if your swing is subject to a humid or coastal climate. This hanging option is guaranteed to get the job the done with fewer adjustments down the road.
Our 1″ synthetic rope option is the smart upgrade for homeowners who love the look of rope but don’t want the maintenance that comes with natural fiber. Available in both synthetic manila (tan) and classic black, this rope handles just as easily as natural manila but offers dramatically better performance in the real world.

Will poly rope stretch like natural manila?
It stretches significantly less. You may need one minor adjustment once the rope settles in the first few weeks, but after that it holds its position far more consistently than natural fiber. It’s the reason we recommend poly rope for customers who want a lower-maintenance experience and are subject to the fluctuations of Tropical climates.
Can you tell it’s synthetic up close? The texture is slightly smoother than natural manila, but the visual difference is minimal and no less polished. In the black color, the synthetic material actually looks more refined and intentional than natural fiber does over time.
Which color should I choose? Tan/manila if you want the classic rope look that blends with farmhouse, coastal, and traditional aesthetics. Black if you want a more contemporary/modern contrast, especially with neutral colored paint or natural-toned swing beds.
